Drew in the artist apartment studio space in the new transit center in down town this morning with some very talented artists. This was the view from where I sat from second floor window in the apartment.

Lake Polly

This sketch happened while i was in the canoe on the north end of Lake Polly while the guys were trying to fish. Notice the smudges from the lake splashing into the canoe. I found it very challenging to draw waves and water.

each twisted root reminded me about the desire to survive, 

to hang on, 

the need to never let go...

my heart is still there on the shores of Lake Polly...
